It's very frustrating not being able to get rid of this piece of shit and it's even more frustrating not being able to understand what I can do or what other options I have.
So I am running the following: app Get-WmiObject -ComputerNameWe have about 500 machines that have Symantec on it that now needs removed. I am able to follow most of the steps, however when I click on "Apply" it says "Error al enumerar los objetos en el contenedor, se ha denegado el acceso" which literally translates to "Error when enumerating objects from the container, access denied" Need to mass uninstall Symantec Endpoint Protection Weve moved to another virus solution where I work. I also tried these tutorials (in spanish) which, from what I understood, is just changing the permits so that your user is able to modify files. I have downloaded Avast, however I've heard that it's not good to have two antivirus installed. It sucks because I have no protection and to be able to download the new version I have to get rid of the old one. I downloaded iObit unistaller and it seemed succesful but the icon in the desktop still appears and in my program files, the Symantec folder is still there and I can't erase it.
The most popular version of the tool is 11.1. It says it's non-compatible and I can't even open the program's control panel and as the title says, I can't uninstall it! This PC software was developed to work on Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 or Windows 11 and is compatible with 64-bit systems.
Since I updated to Windows 10, my old antivirus Symantec Endpoint Protection is no longer working.
